The Georgetown Journal of International Affairs is proud to partner with Georgetown College Democrats to host guest speaker Sam Worthington, President and CEO of InterAction, the largest alliance of U.S.-based nongovernmental international organizations, for an important and timely discussion of how NGOs are helping to fight the ongoing Ebola crisis in West Africa. A member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Mr. Worthington has represented U.S. NGOs and their programs before Congress, the Obama administration, and the national and international media, as well as served on the steering committee of the NGO Leadership Forum at Harvard University.
